Andy Warhol was a leading figure in the American art-movement known as Pop Art. His work focused on the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture & advertising. He used a variety of media including painting, silk-screen printing, sculpture, film & music. He exploited the counter-culture of New York in the 1960s to dramatic effect, creating porn-stars & providing a platform for innovative bands such as The Velvet Underground, whom he promoted as part of his Exploding Plastic Inevitable multi-media show. This further promoted Warhol himself as artist & celebrity.
His studio, which he called The Factory, later became the epicenter of the New York underground scene, attracting mainstream celebrity visitors such as The Doors, The Beatles, David Bowie & The Rolling Stones. Celebrities from the arts were also in attendance, in particular Salvador Dali.
Warhol’s most famous works were his series of celebrity silk-screen prints which featured various Hollywood icons, the most popular being his prints of Marilyn Monroe.

Returns
Our no hassle returns policy is valid for 28 days from receipt of an item
(40 days for international orders).
We accept returns if you want to change it for a different size or colour, you are not happy with the item or you have just changed your mind.
