The t-shirt features Motown legends, The Temptations. This vocal band from the Motown stable was formed out of two local Detroit bands, The Distants & The Primes in 1960. Versatile in their repertoire, including elements of doo-wop, funk & disco, The Temptations were the first Motown act to win a Grammy Award. They were notable as much for their definitive, disciplined group-choreography & sartorial extravagance, as for their exquisite vocal harmonies. They were likened to The Beatles in terms of their influence on the pop scene. Their vocal mastery can be heard in unforgettable classics such as ‘Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone’, ‘My Girl’ & the introspective & mournful ‘Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)’.
